FINAL POST . . . REALLY

The posts set out below are video clips that Robin took to show to her 2nd graders so that they could have some idea of what a subway is like. Apparently, Robin's kids are reading a story that talks about subway trains, and the children are having a difficult time comprehending the whole underground train thing. I thought you might enjoy seeing the footage. It's kind of a kick.

FINAL POST

We're home! It's good to be home, but it's sad to have such a fun trip come to an end. Hopefully, we have built great long-term memories. Only the future will tell. The kids were great! And, I hope that they have positive memories of our little vacation. Fighting was minimal; it was the worst between West Yellowstone and St. Anthony. We drove through parts of nine different states and travelled a total of 3243 miles. 1580 miles were spent driving home from Chicago, 150 miles were spent driving around the Chicago area, and 1513 miles were spent driving to Chicago. We spent 7 days on the trip, and we stayed in Burr Ridge, Illinois, St. Louis Park Minnesota, and Billings, Montana. We ate everything from Gyros at Mr. Greek's (the girls hated them) to burgers at the Space Alien Grill in Fargo, North Dakota. We never want to eat fast food again. Posted below are a bunch of photos from the trip. View them for what they are worth. Thanks for all of your help, love and support. Take care.
